Naturalist and outdoor guide Mark Wheeler will lead participants on an eight-mile trek in this all-day field class. |
| Discover the Eagle Cliff Mine March 14, 2010 Mark Wheeler Travel to one of the best preserved miner’s cabins in Joshua Tree National Park on a secluded plateau in the heart of the Eagle Cliff Hills with Mark Wheeler. The class will explore the rugged hills traveling 6 - 8 miles through moderate terrain with some steep sections and possible rock scrambling. |

Queen Mountain: A View from the Top April 18, 2010 Mark Wheeler Queen Mountain lies off the beaten path, unmarked by trails, waiting for those who desire adventure. Mark Wheeler will lead the class cross-country to the top of Queen Mountain in this all-day field class. Participants should be prepared for a strenuous eight-mile hike with possible rock scrambling and a minimum elevation change of 2,400 ft. |
